I can pray

Today I've been super contemplative. Everyone has a calling, I struggle searching for mine. There are things I CAN do, but is it God's will I do them? I know in my heart, my calling is to be a mommy, and like Eve, I was created to be a helpmeet. I really enjoy the children we keep, I learn so much as to patience, how to enjoy them, wisdom in dealing with them. I hunger to homeschool. I have so many ideas for making it interesting, and effective. All of my interests are domestic. I know that is why God made me. But in the mean time...

I'm in the GOP

Who would have ever thought I'd get into politics, but here I am.Tonight I met with a committee of the Cumberland County Republicans to work on a web site. I am excited about what oportunities there are to be effective. To roll up my sleeves and get to real work, not sit idly back watching Obama and getting angry. Arah's Wedding

I was in a wedding!!!!

My friend Arah Kidwell married Michael Turner on April 18th. She threw her flowers three times, once a little boy caught them, once the driver caught them, and the third time they fell apart.

When they were ready to leave, the driver opened the door, placed Arah inside, then hopped in and drove off with her, leaving the groom standing with his mouth open. :)

Are you fed up with a Congress and a president who:

On Wednesday next week there will be Tax Day Tea Parties everywhere in protest to the wrongs being done by our government just as they were at the Boston Tea Party

What's the point? The protests make national news. One small step to build again the walls like Nehemiah. Line upon Line, precept upon precept, here a little there a little.

Crossville will be hosting speakers, passing out information, signing protests, and mailing tea bags to Washington

This was quite an eventful weekend. Kaylynn swallowed a coin while she and I were in town. I pulled over, got her out of her car seat and called 911. She was breathing, throwing up, and drinking water. But just in case, I wanted them to know where I was. Obviously she survived, and so did I. Ella has Klumpkies Palsy in her left hand. A rare condition where there is nerve damage, she is learning to cope. God knows what He's about.
