This past week was our county fair. I won $100 to my complete surprise. Stacy won first place on a picture of a tombstone of some relative in Alabama. Among the things I won first place for were cherry pie, blueberry pie, strawberry and blueberry fried pies a skirt, a clown costume, canned carrots, catsup, an ink drawing, an oil painting of clay pots, fresh green beens, a small pumpkin, carrots, and the prettiest yellow onions we've ever had.
Sure would like to taste some of those strawberry and blueberry fried pies.
