Dad says "here's your sign"

For Christmas I asked for car seat covers. I pulled the first one out, and it was shapeless. I was disappointed. All seat covers are not created equal. So I never put them on. About a month ago, I attempted to put the shapeless one on my drivers seat and attach it with all the clips that came with it. It wouldn't stay on to save my life, so I wasn't about to put the others on.
Friday, the weather was so lovely, and my car was begging to be cleaned. I decided to break down and put all my seat covers on as well. When I finally pulled all the covers out of the package, lo and behold there were two nicely shaped ones for the front seats, the shapeless ones were for the rear seat. After much struggle, my dad helped me get them on. Don't they look nice?
There's a story to go with my fuzzy steering wheel cover too. I made it from fuzzy yarn cause I often forget my gloves. Stacy and Dad protested that they would no longer drive my car. (hee, hee) Well, the other car broke down and Stacy HAD to drive mine to go get the parts. While at the parts store, a lady says "I LOOOVE your steering wheel cover!" Vehemently he declared the car belonged to his sister! (hee, hee)
One Wednesday night, I wasn't feeling well, so he drove me home from church. We encountered a road block with a dozen policemen. One shines the light into the car and notices my fuzzy steering wheel. He said "Man, that has GOT to be her car!" I am laughing my head off. He calls another fellow to come see it. This guy said "I'd take that off if I were you, man." He hollered at another guy that he needed to get him one of them. (hee, hee)
I will take it off......one of these days.

  1. Ha! Serves em' right! Why take it off? Seems like a win/win to me...either they won't drive it at all (good) or when they do, they will be so mortified...their manly pride crushed so , that you'll get a great laugh! Glad to see you've joined the blogosphere!
