In Jesus' Arms
This is little A.J. Thompson my first cousin. He only lived for 15 days then went home to be with Jesus July 16th. God chose for him not to have to live a life in sin, though death itself is the result. No drugs, no alcohol, no foul language. He now has a healthy body and is praising and adoring Christ our Savior as we speak. I've never seen such a small casket, nor such a small hole to put it in. God had mercy on him, and used him to give me a burden.

Meet my boyfriends
These are our picture books I helped the kids make that my mom keeps. They loved sitting and looking at them. I coated them with contact paper to keep them from tearing them up. The moms really liked them as well.

Georgia Campmeeting or Becky's Adventures Part 5
Monday morning I got up bright and early to help my mom pick beans. That sounds nice of me, but I went off and left her to can them with all these kids here......
I had a great time at Faith Baptist Camp in Resaca, GA. last week. One day we washed hundreds of pounds of chicken pieces. I was so sick of chicken I couldn't eat it
Jonathan Roberts fixing the sink.
Meet the Blue Grass Bass Player Beka Ward with her family. I got to see them Monday
My new hairdo and platform shoes. I loved the shoes until I fell all over the place at camp meeting. You should have been there.

Becky's Adventures KY Part 4
Sunday we stopped in at Boonesborough, Ky and visited the actual site where Daniel Boone led a group of people to build a fort. There is a marker on the original site, but they built a recreation of it up the hill from it.
There were demonstrators in every cabin. It was very enjoyable. One of them told Dad because of my age he was going to have to pay a large dowry to entice a man to mary me and that my skirt would have been way to short for the time period.
The picture of the house belonged to a lockmaster. They built the locke on the river and the house in the 1930's also a project of the ccc. The lockemaster had to let the boats in and out, and in exchanged got to live in the house with his 10 children. So they were a little better off than most people during the depression. The house contains the original furniture donated by the family, including a detailed journal of the man who ran the locke.

Becky's Adventure's Part 3 The Creation Scienc Museum
On Saturday after the wedding we drove 3 more hours to get to Petersburg, Ky. Ken Ham has created a Christian Science Museum. It is located near Cincinnati Ohio.
It was awesome. I was amazed that it was so packed. To God be the glory. The parts that interested me the most was the Biblical archeology. It amazes me when I see artifacts from hundreds and thousands of years ago. I also enjoyed the Noah's ark display. After going through that museum I wonder that there are still people in this world who believe dinosaurs a myth, totally ignoring the facts they really have found.
See for yourself. http://creationmuseum.org/
Becky's Adventure's Part 2 Jessica's Wedding
I spent Thursday night with Jessica Duff, primping and in general getting ready for the wedding. Friday we finished last minute decorations, and had a rehersal, then about 6:00 the wedding. She married Josh Owens.
My partner in crime and the wedding: Kenny Moore author of the Christian Worlview blog.
Christin my old buddy, cut and layered my hair before the wedding. Thanks Christin, I LOVE it!

This was the big Kiss. Imigine being blind and trying to find the bride. My mom got a kick out of her putting him in the car and driving off rather than the other way around.
My brother Stacy was a last minute substitute groomsman walking Jessica's sister Samara down the isle. We took several suits over to the hotel for him to try on. He looked like Rafe Hollister off of Andy Griffeth. Mom altared one of the suits so he actually ended up looking pretty sharp.
We vandalized their car when they were preoccupied. We put glitter in the airconditioner ;) and toilet paper all over everything. Wonder whose idea that was anyway????? sorry but this is not the look of a mischievious person.

The Adventures of Becky Ky Part 1 Mammoth Cave
June 24th we headed out in our new 2006 Mazda MPV for Mammoth Cave in Kentucky. We were so blessed to find a good vehicle. We made several tourist stops while in Ky and I'll share them with you a little at a time.
Here is a link to Mammoth Cave Park http://www.nps.gov/maca/ It was such an awesome adventure. Mom and Dad took a tour that had less walking and fewer stairs. Stacy and I took the historic tour and visited the salt petre mines, and learned history of the caves.

This was Fat Man's Misery followed by Tall Man's torture. In some places it was only 18 inches wide. another cool fact was that the CCC helped to pave the paths in the cave in the 1930's when it was turned into a National Park.
I thought these candle smoke writings from the 1800's were neat. The cave consists of over 300 miles of caverns. This one reads Landram's Sakhorn Band 1855.

For Stacy's 20th Birthday, we took a horseback ride on trails in Mammoth Cave park. Dad rode Duke and I rode Navajo. It was an experience I felt several days after.
